Its vast gallery spaces have hosted some of the Capitals most exciting exhibitions and next month will be home to the highly anticipated Objects of Desire: Surrealism and Design 1924 – today.

Co-curated alongside the Vitra Design Museum in Germany, the exhibition will explore design from the birth of surrealism in 1924 to the current day. Looking at classic works alongside the contemporary, the exhibition will explore and delve into this impactful and influential movement whilst giving the viewer an opportunity to explore and unpack the physical mind and the sense of mysticism that surrounds Surrealism.

On display will be objects from Surrealist pioneers such as Salvador Dalí, Dora Maar, Man Ray, Leonora Carrington and Lee Miller, through to contemporary artists and designs, such as Schiaparelli, Dior and Björk.

Fisher is delighted to announce that we will be hosting the preview reception and launch party and will be creating a beautifully bespoke bar in keeping with the surrealist and contemporary theme as well as curating in partnership with the Design Museum a series of different packages for corporate entertainment.

The exhibition opens on 14th October and will run until February 2023. Tickets are now on sales at designmuseum.org
