We were commissioned to produce and build the entirety of the exhibition.

Working closely with the Van Cleef & Arpels Parisian creative team, we were able to bring to life their exquisite vision for the London leg of this worldwide touring exhibition. The build took place across 11 days with a 40 strong crew.  From a full set build, sourcing of fabrics and materials for seating, ceiling and floors down to the production and installation of graphics as well as providing full technical kit and support.

This highly anticipated exhibition pays homage to this globally renowned luxury jewellery maison.  Showcasing an abundance of beautiful creations expertly selected and curated from its Patrimonial collection, archive documents and some never seen before private collector’s masterpiece collections.

The exhibition is split across four different themes around movement; Nature Alive, Dance, Elegance and Abstract Movements.  Each highlighting the Maisons incredible craftsmanship since the brand’s establishment in1906.  Visitors are transported into an ethereal world of movement, dance and harmony brought to life through some of the world’s most precious gems, metals and materials intricately brought to life through the elegant magical artistry of maison Van Cleef & Arpels.

If you are lucky enough to visit, we recommend that you look out for the outstanding ceiling installation greeting you at the entrance. Created through 3D printing technology, “The Anamorphosis” flows beautifully into the space echoing the theme of movement which runs throughout.  We also simply adore the hand pleated intricate silk panels that were expertly placed in each cabinet as a backdrop to accentuate each jewellery piece.

The Art of Movement” runs until the end of October at The Design Museum and is free to enter. For more information on the exhibition or to book a tour click
