Job Summary:
The job holder is responsible for full end-to-end Project Management of a wide range of live events, specialising in London Venues, ensuring jobs are quoted effectively and delivered on time, within budget and to a quality at or above client expectations.
Main Duties:
- Provide full end-to-end project management of live events including quoting, pre-production, on site delivery and project completion
- Take job brief from clients and/or Commercial colleagues and provide quote and budget to win the job at optimal margin
- Interpret project briefs and work with colleagues to translate into technical designs & equipment specifications including lighting, audio, video & scenic elements
- Create technical drawings to support project designs (Autocad or Vectorworks preferred)
- Complete and co-ordinate all pre-production, ensuring all elements are aligned, systems updated, kit and resources booked and logistics are organised
- Liaise effectively with colleagues across Production, Transport & Logistics, Warehouse and Scenic to ensure events are resourced, planned and delivered correctly
- Provide hands on Project Management on site, coordinating all elements on the day
- Build specialist knowledge of our core London venues including operational logistics and working protocols
- Ensure full compliance with all Health and Safety requirements (colleagues and suppliers)
- Liaise with venues to build positive relationships and ensure project delivery complies with their requirements
- Ensure all events are delivered to a high standard, on time and on budget.
- Conduct a project debrief upon completion of each job to ensure continual improvement
- Fully adhere to all ISO systems/procedures and contribute to their development as required
Job Holder Requirements:
Experience
- Experience in the pre-production and on site delivery of live events essential
- Experience producing quotes and managing budgets to secure a strong margin preferred
- Experience running events in a range of UVLs and other London venues preferred
Competencies
- Communicates well with high profile clients, crew and colleagues across the group
- Ability to resolve last minute problems on site quickly and pragmatically
- Highly developed on site technical production skills
- Autocad or Vectorworks skills preferred
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic, team player
- Computer literate with the ability to learn and assimilate new software
- Works effectively under pressure, giving clear direction during tight delivery timeframes
- Hands on approach, willing to exert additional effort to ensure every event is delivered to our high standards
Additional Requirements
- The job holder is required to have a full UK driving licence for driving company vehicles to/from site (any endorsements to be acceptable to the company’s insurer)
- The job holder will be based at Maxx House, Bracknell, with regular travel to on site venues.
- Due to operational requirements the job holder is expected to work flexibly according to workload, with significant evening and weekend work required
- The job holder must pass the stringent security vetting procedures required for many accredited venues
