Last week we hosted our first Christmas Party of the season and it was a goodie! (if you want a nosey head over to our IG page!). It got us feeling well and truly festive and excited about the next few weeks leading up to the big day.
We’re super lucky to have our office at Somerset House which turns into a Winter Wonderland with Skate every December with their epic ice skating rink. Team Fisher are always first on the ice and hitting up the chalet bar for a mulled wine or 4.
But of course Somerset House isn’t the only amazing venue in London to host an ice skating extravaganza this year!
Here is our list of other icey favourites in the city. Perfect for a team get together or a cosy winter date.
- Hampton Court Palace Ice Skating Rink – Set up right in front of the palace, this is probably the rink with the most beautiful surroundings. Whizz past over 500 years of history and incredible Tudor splendour.
- Queen’s House Greenwich – As well as being set in a UNESCO World Heritage site; this beautiful Naval setting steeped in history will have you skating by with some spectacular views of London and the lights of Canary Wharf in the background.
- Skylight Tobacco Dock – This is probably one of the only rooftop ice rinks in Europe making this a truly unique experience.
- Glide at Battersea Power Station – Probably the most anticipated venue opening of the year! Find yourself spinning around a 30ft Christmas Tree and plenty of places nearby for a truly festive pit stop. Don’t forget to check out the ferris wheel!
